About us
Who is Agrado?
Agrado is a queer led surf and travel community, born in Siargao and now growing across new coastlines. We create small group trips and private escapes that blend waves, wellness and local culture into one easy going adventure.
Everything is designed to feel personal, flexible and welcoming, so you can show up, slow down and connect with the place (and with yourself) in the best possible way.
Meet your Host
Jaime first came to Siargao by chance, drawn by the island’s waves and the simplicity of life around them. Over time, what started as a personal journey began to grow into something more: the idea of creating a space where people could come together through surf, nature, and shared experiences. From that vision, Agrado was born: a project shaped by joy, freedom, and community.

He/him
Originally from Spain, Jaime traded the city and his corporate job for a quieter kind of joy. After more than a decade in marketing, fashion and brand communication across European companies, he now brings that same eye to Agrado: kindness, empathy and creativity, poured into every detail of a trip.
He hosts each gathering with the same care, good company, time in the water, and the kind of connection that stays with you long after you go home. And he is always dreaming up where this community goes next.

“They call me Agrado, because I’ve always tried to make life more gracious for the people around me.”
Our name comes from Pedro Almodóvar's beloved trans character in his Oscar winning film All About My Mother. La Agrado is bold, quirky and unforgettable, a figure deeply rooted in LGBTQ+ culture who lives by authenticity, resilience and joy. One of her most loved lines captures the spirit of this brand better than we ever could.
That same generosity, that same freedom to be fully yourself, is what we bring into every experience.
